CNC Night Shift Supervisor
Position Summary
Mill Creek Machining (MCM), a Delva Tool & Machine company, is seeking a CNC Night Shift Supervisor for our Paullina, IA location. The CNC Night Shift Supervisor oversees and manages shift employees and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards. *This position works a schedule of Monday thru Thursday from 4:50pm - 3:50am, and Friday evening according to business demand. The pay range for this role is $24.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience. A weekly attendance bonus of $44.00 per week will be added to each pay period when all scheduled hours are worked*
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures operators are effectively positioned for shift and properly outfitted with necessary instruments and materials.
- Leads, mentors, and empowers all team members to drive manufacturing efficiency and excellence.
- Ensures all new team members receive all required training. Continuously updates processes, identifies gaps, and rectifies the issue.
- Organizes and executes work assignments based on company needs.
- Optimizes production processes, maximizing throughput. Identifies areas of improvement.
- Collaborates with QC, Production Manager, and Production Supervisor to rectify quality concerns.
- Ensures compliance with safety guidelines and company standards.
- Actively engages in human capital management processes of recruitment, performance management, and terminations.
- Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years' experience in CNC manufacturing is required.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 and quality standards.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and capable of using enterprise database systems.
- Ability to be an effective leader and communicator with all team members.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routing reports and correspondence.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to read precision gauges and visual accuracy.
