Looking to start a career in manufacturing? Mill Creek Machining is seeking a Machine Shop Technician I to support our production team in a hands-on, entry-level role. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, take pride in quality work, and want to learn the fundamentals of precision manufacturing.
You'll work alongside experienced machinists and manufacturing professionals, learning the processes, tools, and techniques that keep our machine shop operating efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career path within CNC machining and aerospace manufacturing.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment.
- Perform deburring, chamfering, and basic finishing operations on machined parts.
- Assist machinists with material handling, part loading and unloading, and shop support activities.
- Move materials, work orders, and finished parts throughout the facility.
- Complete basic production documentation and follow work instructions.
- Support preventive maintenance and machine upkeep activities.
- Follow all safety, quality, and ITAR requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Benefits and Perks
The pay range for this position falls between $17.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience. A sign-on bonus is available! Our comprehensive benefits package includes, but is not limited to, a competitive pay rate, accrued vacation time, sick time, paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, health, dental, and vision insurance as well as Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and life/AD&D insurance.
