Mill Creek Machining, a location of Delva Tool & Machine, is looking for a Lead CNC Machinist who can provide technical leadership on the shop floor while helping drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support CNC Machinists and Machine Operators throughout daily production.
- Coordinate machine setups, changeovers, and production priorities.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and setup issues.
- Review work instructions, setup documentation, tooling requirements, and programs before production.
- Monitor production performance, quality standards, and schedule adherence.
- Train and mentor machinists while helping develop technical skills across the team.
- Participate in root cause investigations related to scrap, rework, downtime, and delivery performance.
- Communicate production status and shop-floor challenges to leadership.
- Promote safe work practices and compliance with company standards.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
- Strong setup and troubleshooting experience on CNC equipment.
- Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
- Ability to lead by influence and support team development.
- Experience with aerospace manufacturing and tight-tolerance machining preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts is a plus.
Benefits and Perks
This salary range for this position falls between $45,000-$90,000/year depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes, but is not limited to, a competitive pay rate, accrued vacation time, sick time, paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, health, dental, and vision insurance as well as Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and life/AD&D insurance.
