revenue. Our company specializes in disaster recovery, water/fire mitigation, and reconstruction services.
As we scale, we need a financially disciplined and process-driven leader to oversee our operations,
improve financial reporting and enhance overall business efficiency.
Position Summary
The Construction Project Manager will lead restoration projects from initial assessment to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. They will oversee project timelines, budgets, and subcontractors while serving as the main point of contact for clients and insurance adjusters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of fire restoration projects, including scheduling, budgets, and quality
- assurance standards are met.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring efficient progress and timely completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, insurance adjusters, and internal teams.
- Provide regular updates to clients, addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets safety regulations, local building codes, and
- ProFire’s high standards.
- Verify that all completed work aligns with issued work orders and quality expectations before
- approving invoices.
- Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with approved estimates.
- Approve change orders and resolve budget discrepancies proactively.
- Oversee the careful packing, cleaning, and storage of clients’ belongings.
- Maintain accurate project records, including progress updates, photos, and work logs.
- Utilize project management and restoration-specific software (e.g., Xactimate, Dash, Restoration
- Manager) effectively.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of project management experience in the commercial and/or residential construction
- industry is required.
- Experience managing multiple projects and events at one time is required.
- Strong knowledge of restoration processes, insurance claims, and estimating software.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with clients
- during sensitive situations.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and construction best practices.
- Proficiency in using project management tools and technology.
- A valid driver’s license is required for conducting site visits and attending pre-bid meetings.
