Position Summary

Delva Tool & Machine is seeking a Quality Manager for our Cinnaminson, NJ location. We’re looking for a hands-on Quality Manager who can own the entire quality function—from shop floor execution to system-level compliance. This role isn’t about maintaining the status quo; it’s about driving accountability, tightening processes, and ensuring we consistently meet demanding aerospace and defense standards.
 

What You’ll Own

  • Lead daily quality operations, supervising inspectors and technicians while ensuring inspections are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Oversee in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
  • Drive resolution of non-conforming material, including MRB activity and corrective action implementation
  • Maintain the integrity of the Quality Management System (QMS), including documentation, audits, and CAPA programs
  • Lead AS9100 audits and act as the primary point of contact with external auditors and customers
  • Own FAI and PPAP processes, ensuring complete and compliant first-article submissions (AS9102)
  • Manage supplier quality, including audits, incoming inspection, and corrective actions
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts for quality escapes, customer complaints, and systemic issues
  • Establish and report on key quality metrics (FPY, DPPM, scrap/rework, on-time FAI) and use them to drive improvement
  • Partner with operations and engineering to resolve issues, improve processes, and support growth initiatives
  • Train, develop, and hold the quality team accountable for performance and standards
  • Ensure strict compliance with ITAR requirements across all quality processes and documentation
 

What You Bring

  • Proven experience leading quality in a manufacturing environment (aerospace strongly preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and quality systems management
  • Strong understanding of inspection methods, drawings, GD&T, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
  • Ability to lead people, enforce standards, and drive accountability without creating friction
